Working Student - ADAS Behavior Software Simulation (m/f/d)

20 h/week, up to 35 h/week during semester break

YOUR TEAM

To support our ADAS & AD Behavior Software team, we are currently looking for an intern or a working student. Our team aims to improve road safety by providing 360-degree active safety software, including automated emergency braking, steering, and proactive occupant protection systems.

In your role, you get first-hand experience in a state-of-the-art software stack and advanced simulation tools, such as CarMaker or CARLA. You will have the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge safety technologies and gain hands-on experience in the field of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

WHAT YOU WILL DO 

  • Integrate vehicle software into simulation frameworks for virtual testing
  • Create interfaces between vehicle software and the simulation environment
  • Test and generate complex driving scenarios in virtual environments, including open-world scenarios
  • Utilize state-of-the-art automotive simulation tools for explorative software validation
  • Enhance virtual vehicle models
  • Visualize internal data and the decisions of vehicle algorithms within the simulation

WHO YOU ARE 

  • Enrolled in a technical or scientific degree program, such as Computer Science, Engineering or Robotics (please specify the expected date of your graduation or end of enrollment)
  • Basic knowledge of software development using Python / C++, and Git
  • Familiarity with automotive simulation tools (CARLA, CarMaker) or CI/CD is a plus
  • Good experience with ADAS / Euro NCAP is a plus 
  • Proficiency in English or German

NICE TO KNOW 

  • Remote work options within Germany    
  • Internship:
    • Duration: 3 to 6 months
    • 35-hour weeks
  • Working Student: 
    • Duration: 6 months
    • 20 h/week, up to 35 h/week during semester break
