One of the prerequisites for the Master's programme (see admission regulations for mechanical engineering) can be the Master's entrance test, for which you must register in the given case. The registration documents required for this will be sent to you by the Admissions Office.
In the Master's entrance test, knowledge of mathematics, technical mechanics, construction theory, materials science, thermodynamics, electrical engineering and drive technology as well as measurement and control technology can be tested, depending on the intended degree programme.
Detailed information on the required prior knowledge and contents of the Master's entrance test can be found in the corresponding admission regulations.
The Master's entrance test is conducted in German.
ILIAS learning platform
The Master's entrance tests for the degree programmes Mechanical Engineering, Sustainable Engineering, Mechatronics & Robotics, Production & Logistics and Biomedical Engineering are conducted in presence in the IT pools at the University of Hanover in Garbsen. The ILIAS learning platform is used for this purpose.
