Various commissions are formed at the university for teaching and studies, so-called study commissions, which are made up of representatives of students and teaching staff. Students have the majority of votes in the commission, which is chaired by the Dean of Studies without voting rights. According to the Lower Saxony Higher Education Act (NHG) (Section 45 (1-2)), the Study Commission must be consulted on all matters relating to teaching, studies and examinations before the Faculty Council makes a decision.

Applications for study quality funds
Applications for study quality funds must be submitted to Ms Schneider at least two weeks before the start of the first session of the summer or winter semester. Questions regarding the structure and format of the application should be addressed to Ms Schneider. Applications received too late cannot be considered in the current allocation procedure.
